Office Supplies Distribution

A leading office supplies company runs Swift systems to control the movement of stationery and consumables through 5 main distribution centres UK wide.

Interactive telesales functions are an important element in helping our client to transform from a reactive to a proactive sales organisation, making it easier for their operators to “know the customer” and offer client specific pricing and promotions.

Orders taken up to 17:00 on one day are delivered next day, and use of the Swift Returns module has helped them to identify errors, implement improvement checks and balances and achieve considerable reduction in returns costs.

Retail

Our client is a well known store distributing goods to its outlets via 8 Regional Consolidation Centres. The RCCs use Swift’s Warehouse Management fully integrated with our client’s third party core ordering and financial systems.

Each RCC consolidates deliveries from both suppliers and other internal warehouses for delivery to stores UK wide. The Swift system processes 60,000 order lines per night across all their RCCs.

Airline Services

Our Warehouse Management system, tailored to suit HM Customs and Excise duty payable products requirements, is used in 17 bonded warehouses at airports UK wide including Heathrow and Gatwick.

The Swift system controls the configuration and loading of bar trolleys and provides specialist functions for integration with flight schedules which determine all the key parameters needed to load the correct items and levy the appropriate duty.
